I pulled 2 Diamond Viper V550 PCI Video Cards out of an old system. They are 128 bit 16MB SDRAM, 250Mhz RAMDAC. Is there anything I can salvage from them that would be useful? Do they go to the round file?

What do you mean exactly?? You can either use it or not use it..Seems a Little old and slow but maybe if you are some sort of Genius you can turn it into a Robot that can clean your House??

The sarcasm is appreciated but I guess what I meant was, if i'm not going to install the card in a new system, can parts be salvaged off the card, like the fan or any chips....or should i just toss the thing.

I suppose if it has a fan it could be usefull for something..You could use the Card if you are just surfing the net but it wouldn"t be good for games..
As for the Chips I guess if you are an electrical enginer or some Super Brainy Tech guy you might be able to do something with it..You can sell it on Ebay for maybe $5 if it works..
