Basically they didn't have it on their web-site that the remote was included in the pack which led me to question it... Usually it is highlighted that the remote is included.

It's ok though - I contacted the supplier in question & confirmed, remotes come included.

Are we talking about the Kryptview 750 box plus iconnect for the UK or the new 780 LAN Box.

Well the thread is Evolution iConnect so if we're specific then we'd be talking about the 750 but both were mentioned...

All boxes come with remote control the new 780 is on sale now you dont need an iconnect for that box as the 780 has built in lan connector

My question was in relation to the posts like this or anybody else purchasing a box.

When the LAN box arrives why would people still buy the iconnect.

Looks like they may not be out that soon. I just got this back from the facebook page when I asked is the A780 available.

"Not at the present time its not operational as all areas in Ireland are not fully N3 yet hopefully we will have it running in couple of months"

I thought we were all n3 in Ireland.

its slightly more complicated than that m8 i cant go into details but take it from me that is why starview have the same prob in Ireland they only have 1 area covered when kryptview come over they will cover all the areas when they switch to N3 which should not be to much longer

I just cant believe this country (Ireland). Even changing to N3 isn't straight forward.

Now I sit here cheering for N3 full implementation.

unfortunitly Ireland never do there is always some complications if it was straight forward it would be up and running right now just like the Uk is but it will be worth the wait when it does come they have the best supported boxs of all the cable boxes out at the present time
