Could anyone please confirm that if you have a set up A750 box with an i-connect attached or a setup A780 box that all that is required, when Nag 3 is fully on, is to connect to BB through a router to receive all channels or is it necessary to connect to a particular site. Will the box sort out pictures without need for any further programming or payment of an annual fee or is a fee necessary to connect to a particular site or server?

you just connect your broadband making sure you have the latest firmware on your box and away ya go.

no annual fee either you buy the box thats it.

yes lincsat From what i've heard I believe they have migrated one of their server clusters to add more capability and bandwidth. The 20 minute down time was probably due to domain name propogation.

    try mycablebox, skywonder, ect..ect...

or as you already guessed from the last page or 2 back
you can send a "pm" to certain people on the threads
1 of them just has the krypt and the other has both

though i have not purchased from either myself!
but know people who have had no problems with either

or have a look at this box here >>>>> http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_jump.cfm/865958/5248261

as far as im "aware" it's on the starview server,

    Many thanks boys,

Could either of you please confirm that if firmware is already on the A750 that all that is required is to connect up the I-connect to the router and and then the BB will do the rest?

    Slainte.(Good health)

    Many thanks e45.

My question is if you have an A750 box with already downloaded firmware on it i.e. previously successfully scrambling N2 that all that is required is to purchase and connect correctly an "i-connect"to the BB, as illustrated on the files at the bottom of your signature, to grab all channels when the switchover to N3 is complete if ever?

Is the latest software you refer to purely related to loading the i-connect to the A750 box or what?

Sorry to bug you will go back to my Tyskie soon and leave you in peace.

    Many thanks !

On reading the i-connect post it refers to updating your box but the symbols were the same as the oeiginal A750 firmware symbols ie Loader and bin files, hence the confusion. I was not sure if it was going over old firmware tutorials or what! I take it that if I purchase an "i-connect" that I must update the fecking box.

Thanks for your help e45 if i am still wrong I would appreciate your telling me so.

    Lots of craic(fun).Keep swinging.
