    Hi guys,
I use VM broadband, can anyone who uses it please let me know if the i-connector is safe to use or will they be able to read it, I mean detect it as I don't want to end up losing my services?

    How do all.
Lads anyone with particulars of the server the IConnect connects to? It's been touted as having no expiry unlike the SV6 but haven't seen anything specific on how/why...

Also - read earlier that it has been tested in Ireland over the past few days so can't imagine it'll be long before firmware available in Eire.

Last point - considering the likely massive up-take on this one wonders why KV have released this box to work with the iConnect on a box without HD or even USB support???

But... I suppose beggars can't be choosers! :)

Yes its connect and works, no expiry like the SV6, why would you want particulars of the server?

Its been tested, so could be a little while yet for full release.

KV didnt release the box, the A750 has been about a good while, they have the ICONNECT working with it, which, they could have just blanked altogether and went with a new box totally such as the SV6, so its good that they have and saved a lot of people with those boxs

Hmmn... Wanted to see what the situation was regarding the setup/capacity of the serevr rather than just accepting it. Call me suspicious.
Good point regarding saving those with KV's money - didn't think of that.
Would be nice with a HD box, USB and a remote that works tho!!!

The iconnect is for the people that have the 750 model and some have the 700 model and the hd 800 which hopefully the iconnect will also work on the last 2 soon but at the present time it works only with the 750 model that box is now over a year old and many people bought them they are not the same as the starview which bring out a new box everytime there is a new change in encryption kryptview are saving people having to buy a new box by getting an iconnect for the first box.

As regards to the server it connects to that is not up for discussion.

And why would they need usb support it has a perfectly working rs232 connector on it and if you buy the starview combo which is a HD box you are going to pay a lot more for a box that will last 12 mts on cable im sure krypt will bring out another HD box once the demand is there for it as in Ireland there is not many Hd channles compared to the Uk

the box is working in Ireland but has not been open to the public as yet but as people have said watch this space ;)

well it was only the first batchs of the A750 that had the remote issue, this didnt effect the the later ones, a firmware patch was released to fix it

Why would you want to know the set up / capacity of their server? Sorry, but that aint a question to be asking, in fact it sounds like a cable company question.....

Both fair points - in regards to the 800 HD, wasn't aware it might work with that. Interesting...
Mickah - flattered about the cable company comment :) Just expanding the knowledge. The question on the server was just to get peace of mind on how long it will last other than just being told on a forum. No hassle - we can park it there. :)
