I just converted a dvd rip of Advent and it looks amazing!! I used the faq from this form and it worked great. I do however think that DVD to Quicktime is a better way to go because it came out the best this way! I also converted some other anime and Shaun of the Dead!

I just used Videora on my copy of Batman Begins and it only took about 2 hours. Maybe a little more. I don't have my iPod Video yet but when I play it back on the computer it looks pretty good.

Does the video ipod play divx and xvid, or would I have to convert all my .avi files to mpeg-4, which is almost the same format? I want to get the 30 GB video iPod, but if I cant put any avi files on it, that may change my mind.
