When trying to burn a DVD, I get a 33% failure rate. It fails before it even starts. Here is the log...
If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thank you.

[bold]saugmon[/bold], that information is in the Nero log.

Recorder: SONY DVD RW DW-U10A, Media type: DVD-R
    Disc Manufacturer: RITEKG - 04

    PMA update failure
I don't have an answer to help you. That PMA update failure, seems to be a problem that many people have with Sony burners. Other brands of burners can also have that problem, but it seems to be a real problem for Sony burners.

Use Search messages link above to search for PMA update failure.
    See also.

RITEKG - 04 These are very good discs, but may not be very compatible with your burner. Some people have solved this problem by trying different media. It might work. Other's have solved this problem by getting rid of their Sony burner and getting one that doen't have that problem.

I have a Sony also. Veblin is correct sony dont like certain media. I have found Sony's like memorex, tdk, and sony media. Use one of these brands and you should get a perfect burn.
