    Thanks Karljd

I did the scan power scan between 290mhz-450mhz and it "identified" 127 channels (as opposed to only 10 previously). Of the 127 only 12 are working - the rest are showing "scrambled channel". After resetting to 'Factory Default', was I supposed to upload the 'nagra 2 fix' again?

    Thanks for your help.

Hi everyone.. Need some advice! I'm having the problem where my laptop isnt recognising the box. It worked before no problem but i have since rebuilt my laptop. I have no serial port on the laptop so its on a docking station and i have a null modem cable going from the docker to the box. As i said it worked last time no hassle but now the flashing software is looking for it in COM4 (if i select 1, 2 or 3 it says port not available) and just says receiver not detected, but in device manager it says its COM2 thats in use. I thought it would be as simple as changing the port in device manager to COM4 but that doesnt work, when i go back into the flashing software it says no port available. It insists on COM4 but then says receiver not detected. I've tried unplugging and rebooting etc. A friend mentioned there might be a code you can key in from the remote control to fix it.... Any ideas? If i cant fix it i'll try getting a usb-serial cable. The box is an EX5000 PVR

You need to check if the emulation is switched on. Menu Language 1968 this should reveal the emulation menu. Check on save and exit.

    Hi Everyone,
new to this, so pardon my ignorance, I have a C****s Ariel and would like to buy a Krypview/Starview etc box for it.

    Q1.
What is the best box to use with an MMDS Ariel?

    Q2.
Are they a pain to keep updated?

Thanks in advance for your help

I can't find the 'emulation' you refer to. I accessed the Main Menu / Preferences / Language Settings but this only gives a choice of various foreign languages - nothing numerical to choose from?

As said above - Press menu, then OK on Language, there should now be 4 language bars, now enter 1968 via your remote keypad and another 2 further options will appear Emulation and Emm Capture, just ensure that Emulation is enabled.

Thanks a million - bloody genius's. All good and now back in action. The sudden rush of channels just bowled me over. Life is good again.

Hi, I'm in County Galway on N*L Aerial, was using a MaxV2008. Is the Krptview Evolution A750 an apt replacement or is it compatible only for Cable users (e.g. Galway City) please? If it is not compatible on the N*L Aerial system, what's the best alternmative please? Tks again lads & keep up the fantastic work.

    Hi Mikkah!
When I receive my new Kryptview, will I have to get on my desktop and:
    A. download HiTech's Kryptview fix
    and then
    B. download/flash it with the latest firmware (remote control fix etc)
Before I even plug it into my TV system
Or, will the new box come with both of these done already?
    Please help? Tks
