    here here well said mickah there is some people out there wants everythin now be chilled out and they will come lol and for KBMurphy question no you should not have to load firmware again if channels say scambled just put ur box in standby mode of 10 to 20 mins and they should come back in and if they dont after that well that a cable provieder problem :):):):):):)

    guys what is downloader 10 trying to flash a digivox and cant download downloader 10 head wrecked

    sorry f-cken head melted now i think i have flashed the box with the usb file as the bin file failed to work might have destroyed the box

    been away for a yearreading thread with interest-Ihave original starview not a clone never flashed with any firmware updates (problem with computer) always managed to get codes. Now codes have not changed but have lost everything (telepest MSIDE AREA)From page 1 of thread it says no fix for original starview is this ireland or everywhere? Is it time to buy a new one is what I need to know thanks.

    try a factory reset and auto scan your provider and emu to on.
    irl have the problem not uk.best to get box updated with firmware.

    Thanks for that so some light at end of tunnel! as I have never updated firmware(have changed computer now as well) can I just attempt to update with latest firmware or will I need to add any intermediate firmware.

    Just update with the December fix firmware, CryptStar-v1.5 - you will find it in Eamo's FTA Library (In Firmware) - link at the bottom - you will also need the GTRom_v4.00.exe (In Software) and if you have not flashed a box before then I suggest that you get to an older PC or Laptop with OS XP which has the correct 9 pin serial port, and use a Null Modem lead only.

    Thanks Malci will start the quest tomorrow-I now this is going to be painful! I have a computer using xp my other had vista which was a pain in the a** ill need to geta cable or are the usb to 9pin better just saw one advertised for £7?

    Far easier if you take my advice above, save a lot of headache, but if you want to give it a go then it is your choice.

    null modem cable and pc with xp and com port is the easiest way.

    hi everyone i had a eurovox max v when all the boxs went down i upgraded my u*c to get the sports channels and then i reieved new cards to be inserted into my 2 u*c boxs now i hear that there a few boxs working again i am thinking of getting a starview 4 usb will this work seems as i now put the new cards in the boxs . were the new cards to stop these boxs from working i dont want to buy a starview 4 and then find it wont work what a waste of money that will be . can anyone help me please
