Well you see those percentage signs? If you don't care about noise all that much turn them up to 100% and see what happens.
i turned off the big fan i used to stop the over heating and changed the 30% to 100% but there was no change and because i turned off my big fan the temp went up. Should i just get a better fan?
I think what beccajay2 means is that there's a large desk fan pointing at the case with the side off. Is that right? It's what I did when I had overheating issues, a few years ago.
Yep thats what im doing so any other ideas to fix it? my dad is takeing my computer to a shop soon so i dont want to pay loads of money again
Sorry i didnt say anything a lots has happend anyway my computer went to a repair shop that my friend uses he put a new power supply in and it worked fine (for a week) then went back to its old self i had a look at the back of the computer to see what power supply it was my hand was around 10cm away for the metal case when sudenly blue sparks came out the power supply i left it for a bit to carm down then tried to use it an hour later nothing happend i opend the case and looked at the power supply and it was upside down. i took the computer back to the repair shop and they said the computer was dead any thing linked to the power supply got destroyed (oh wait thats every thing) i think it was the power supply that killed my computer and thats the part they fited so after all the repairs and parts the coast is about £120 and i have no computer at all. what a world we live in.
Unfortunately that's what cheap power supplies do to PCs on a regular basis. It's happened to pretty much everyone I know, and myself. You just don't buy cheap PSUs or expect that to happen.
i think the worst bit was that he did all this without me saying he could he just put new parts in and didnt say where they came from
