Overclocking Athon XP 3000+

    I was wondering whether I could possibly take my CPU higher by overclocking. Below are my system's specs. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    you can take it a fair bit higher but cooling will be very important with this cpu.

    dont bother trying with a standard hsf, either use high performance hsf or watercooling (expensive)

    also only turn up the speed a few mhz at a time and use prime95 for a while to make sure the temperature is stable after each overclock. this will take your cpu to 100% load and put it under quite a bit of stress though so keep a close eye on the temp
