I have a 2.4C (800mhz fsb, 200mhz system bus, multiplier is 12) and i have it overclocked to 3ghz (1000mhz fsb, 250mhz system bus) agp and pci busses locked. Ram running at 200mhz (5:4 ratio). did not need to up the voltage. Running at ~35C idle, ~50C video encoding or gaming. Is this proc, under these conditions going to last ALOT less because of the overclock? i had the idea that unless you also up the voltage, it should be ok.
