Hi, my CPU fan is constantly spinning REALLY fast! i downloaded SpeedFan, just to check what temp my PC was at, it said 55-59C (3.6GHZ) i have now installed SpeedFan, but for ages now my fan has been going at top speed! Whats happened, do i need a better CPU fan? Also i thought for a quik fix i could just take the side off my PC and leave it off, just to let me air flow through, is that a good idea or not? Thanks

Prescott's can Idle in the 50's, they run much hotter then a Northwood chip.
