p4 or mother board broke

    nope a dont think and a cant find a recipt to check do you think the board is dead

    board works but not properly. can you find the original bios version for that board & install it??

    when i do it it downgrades back to origonal but the bit in voltage control screen dont change back as i had saved the origonal when i updated when its falshing tho and them blocks apear there are 2 blocks what show blue boxes and in the key it sates no update avaible

    Have you tried to reseat all power connections to the motherboard including the 4 pin near the processor?

    You have a 4 pin to the motherboard, try resetting all power connectors as well since it sounds like you are losing voltage to the processor or motherboard is on the blink, bad power supply possibly if this comes and goes. (Just grasping at straws and it doesn't hurt to try...just my two cents.)

    I already replaced the power surply to a 600wats and it did't make no difference. :-(

    What type of memory do you have? PC3200 ?

    also, do you have a "square 4 pin" connector from your Power Supply plugged into your motherboard?

    i took it all to bits fully last night and pugged it in first boot it had gone baxkto 3hz but afterturning off and rebooting itwas back at 1.50 a opend case and fideld with tht square plug what goes in the mother board and the other one the big rectange thing it went back to 3ghz after turning off it worked a couple of times then went back to 1.50 but fiddling with the conectors on the board it went back to 3ghz do i need a new board then or can i fix the faulty connector on board not sure wich it is yet tho the square 4 pin or the big rectangle one

    i would say get a new m/b and an anti-surge socket sounds very much like power damage
