    Hi all,

I will apreciate if you can help me with the following problem.
I will move from a PAL B country to UK (PAL I). I understand that I cannot use the same TV because the sound system but if I use the SCART port it should work fine.
    Is it right?
Is there any other solution for this?
Is anyone familiar if Cable or Satellite providers in UK can be connected through the SCART port?

thanks in advance for your help

    Jorge

    Hello George

I can confirm that both the Satellite Provider for the UK [$ky] and the Terrestrial Digital Provider [FreeView] can be connected via SCART.

The $ky service is only available via STBs designed by $ky and they all have two SCART outputs - one for the TV and one for the VCR.

The FreeView service has only recently started, and there are a number of STBs available, some of which will have SCART others only have RF.

Hope this helps, if you want any more info please come back, or post a question on :

A very friendly and informative Site/Forum.

    Kind regards
