palm pre help

    i bought a palm pre in china but the guy i bought it from imported it from the US, and every time i turn it on its trying to activate on the sprint network. they told me here in china i need to unlock it.

    does anyone know anything about this, your help would be greatly appreciated.

    ps its the CDMA brand palm pre not the GSM brand

    Unlock usually means the phone would be allowed on other networks I think. So why not try
