I saw very good reviews for this, but is says on the Panasonic website it can't copy VHS tapes to DVD. Is it only saying this because it doesn't have a VCR and plugging one in though an input would work fine, or not?

Near the bottom, the first 3 are obvious due to the lack of a VCR, but the 4th one worries me. Is it just because there is no VCR and using a VCR though inputs would work fine?

I still don't know what you're referring to.

If you want somebody to judge a statement or two,
provide the actual link to the page in question.

it's not that clear, but I would assume it would work fine
except for macrovision encoded tapes .
