Panasonic DVD R32

    Does anyone know if there is a firmware upgrade available for this model? It seems to be media selective when playing DVD -R Backups

    Any help would be appreciated

    I'm not sure you can get firmware upgrades for standalone players. I have a R32 and lately, its been giving me problems with DVD-R's almost as much as DVD+R's which it really doesn't like. Perhaps Panasonic has a upgrade for the unit but I'm not sure how you'd load it..

    Let me know what you find out...

    Hi guys.

    Just a quick question on this DVD player.

    Is this a multi region player? The manual says it is for (australia) "4" & "ALL". Does the ALL indicate all other regions?

    Need to know as it is (hopefully) going to be used in the UK.

    I can only vouch for the USA and it plays Region 1 fine. If I were you, I'd look at different manufacturers before making the purchase. Sony comes to mind as a pretty good mid-priced alternative.
