panasonic dvd rv32 --> problems playing backups

    gday,
    dvd back ups work during the first chapters but later the movie just stops and I always get the error F499 in the display. When i start the movie again the chatpter works. It always gets worse at the end of the movies. I am using Verbatim DVD-R. Can anyone help please?

    Same machine , same problem , only with mirror dvd+r discs. I get error f499 in the display panel then have to switch off and on again to unlock the player
