Hi , can anyone help? I bought a panasonic E75V to dub my old VHS tapes to DVD-RAM and now want to edit them and save as DVD-R. I've used Powerproducer gold that came with my LG drive to convert the DVD - VR disk to mpeg 2 but the quality of the final DVD is really poor. Is there a better program for converting the DVD VR Ram files into M-peg code so i can use a different edito. I also hane NERO 6 reloaded but it won't read the DVD-RAM disk. Many thanks - any advice muchappreciated

I use TMPGEnc DVD Author to read the VR files from the DVD RAM on my Panasonic E55, using the LG 4160 writer in my PC.

Simple 'crop' type edits where necessary -- author and burn to DVD-R -- all with the same program -- no re-encoding, no loss of quality (as far as I can tell!)
