If you know the new TP where the channel moved to, you can just scan that single TP from the sat setup menu. If you don't know where the channel moved to, then a complete rescan may be necessary. Clear all channels and rescan. You may be able to find your missing channels at this link below on the Lyngsat chart, then scan the TP shown. Just keep in mind the It may take a few days for Lyngsat to update their chart. http://www.lyngsat.com As to the sports channels, I think they are still playing with packet encryptions for some of those. They use different encryption for certain sports events to screw things up. Jerry
my hockey channels or any other "sports package"channels never worked for me. instead i look up the epg and watch on the fox sports channels they are on. now, does anyone know how to get the old west coast channels, i lost them (even channels in the 240s)
Hi Jerry, I've noticed there is a new bin for the pansat 3500. Now how abouts do I get this into my pansat? I am very new at this, please bare with me. Do I connect it to my computer? What aret the steps?
What doesn't work?? The download link or the program itself. The key programs sometimes go off line for different reasons. They usually come back on later. Jerry
Hi Jerry, my friends pansat 3500sd went dead after he used the Last channel button. He said the picture went green and then went dead. It doesn't turn on at all. Have you heard of this before, would he have to get a jtag? I have to say that this is the best thread on the net and thanks for all your help. Jay
I just tried it here at work and installed it on this PC. Everything was OK. Both the download and install worked, and then it got the keys as it should. Jerry
Try loading the factory bin file and see if that corrects the problem. Then load the latest bin update after that. SEE NEXT POST::: Jerry
Can someone help me out please? I don't see any of my channels anymore. All I see is a message that says "Wait for picture" and the percentage goes up to 2000. I just changed my code yesterday and and I could see it, but now, i dont see anything.
What exactly did you change yesterday?? Did you change the key numbers or did you install a new bin file? The latest file is 306 and there is a link to it several posts before this one. Jerry
I changed the key numbers. No one wil teach me about the bin. I don't know how to update my bin. I still have the old one, and that means I have to change the key everyday to be able to view the channels. The bin I have is from Oct 06. The people I know won't teach me and are keeping it to themself. They just say there is a new bin. They don't have any program to change it. Please help!
This link should help you get started. In the zip file is several updates. There is a text instruction, the newest loader file, the new boot file and the latest bin file. The loader is the program you use to update the receiver. Load the new boot file first, then the bin file. The bin file in the zip is probably already updated to a newer version but it won't hurt to load those first then just update the bin file again. http://www.future-fta.info/Forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=8404&d=1164253287 This link is to the latest bin file. http://www.future-fta.info/Forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=8984&d=1167979668 Jerry
UPDATE: Hi Jerry, I just wanted to update you on my progress. I finally had the chance to sit down and actually get this done and it was a success. The instructions were so easy to follow. Again, thanks for your help. =)))))))))))
No problem. Its not hard at all after you do it one time. The boot file only needs done one time for now. then you just do the bin file updates as they come out. If another boot file is ever needed, they usually do a group of updates like in that first zip file I linked to. Jerry
