Did you use todays keys?? If you need to check, download either key program from the link under my signature. Both are working and updated with todays keys.

    Hi Jerry,

I hope you can help me resolve this problem. Everything was working fine but for past couple of weeks the Pansat 3500SD that I have displays NO SIgnal Error. I uploaded the lastest Fix but still the same issue. The Quality of the signal shows as zero. I know the signal is good because the directtv receiver works fine.

    Thanks,
    Akash

BEV is playing around with the encryption a good bit lately, so if you are aimed at BEV sats you can expect problems until the coders figure out a fix. I watch DN on 110 and 119 and have no problems with my Viewsat so far. I'll post more if I see anything new on this.

I live in Canada and can't get my dish to pick up any BEV signals. Since I live in Canada local Pansat etc. dealers aren't allowed to tell us how to hook up the BEV. What channels does BEV work on? How do I set up my 3500sd to pick up the BEV?

Reply to CPK2006 YOU have to point your dish to Express Vu, make sure you have the latest B-80 Flash and load newest bin then do a blind scan and you will get all the express vue channels except a few hockey games that are encoded. You might experience a bit of a problem as they have been messing around with the signal lately, and after 15 minutes your receiver might shut off and come on again by itself.

I'm not sure how that works if you are pointed at the american signals ,I would think you would need another dish to get Express vue . I am just getting everything from express vue, maybe somebody else can help you out.

Yes, if you move your dish to another sat you will loose the one you now are viewing. Most people that want both DN and BEV usually run 2 different dish setups.

Yes, ALL FTA receivers are back up and running. The sat providers keep changing the key codes and some slight changes to the encryptions but the code writers usually have a new bin file or new keys quickly. Everything gets fixed sometimes in a matter of hours. My Viewsat is working great and my Pansat is working good for my daughter and son-in-law. I gave it to them to use.

Pansat 3500sd and Viewsat Extreme working on the same Dish

Hey Guys, I bought a Viewsat Extreme based on what Jerry has been saying for six months now. Since my Pansat hasn't gone done I haven't got around to switching to my Viewsat. I wanted to hook both up to my dish. I have two LNB's and notice that one doesn't even have a coaxial cable coming out of it. Do you see any problems running a second coaxial cable from this LNB to a 2nd TV with my viewsat? What are the do's and don'ts for this?

If each LNB has 2 connectors out then you can run 2 receivers off that LNB. Run 1 cable from each connector to each receiver. If the LNB feeds into a switch, then just duplicate the setup for the second receiver using another switch. Both receivers will get all the channels. If you have a LNB with no cable connected to it at all, then it is not in use by the Pansat receiver and may not be aimed for a signal. You can hook it up and see what you get.
