Here is a link for a 3500 setup guide. You will need Adobe reader to open it once you download it. This is for installing the new bin files. If you just need the key numbers, then download either Keymaster or Keyripper off the 2 links below my signature. Unzip them to your desktop and click them whenever you need new keys. They are usually updated within a few hrs of a change.

If you join http://www.future-fta.info you can download any new file update from there as they come out.

Ok i am a bit new i understand that i can load Bins so that i don't have to keep entering keys all the time.
Current i don't have the ability to load bins so i am force to manually enter the Keys. So i downloaded the KeyripperV3.1 and it displays 4 keys. Two for Dish two for BEV my question is, If i have a pansat 3500sd which set of keys do i use??

The link I listed a few posts back is a setup guide that should explain the basics on installing a bin file. Its not hard at all and after the first couple of times it takes less that 5 minutes to do.

    Hi Jerry,

I have a problem. I was viewing my movies and all of a sudden the system went down. The whole power supply of my pansat shut off. I had to get it fixed. Someone was telling me that I got booted?? I really don't know what he was trying to tell me. Do you know how I can fix this and prevent it from happening again?

I'm not sure what they mean by booted. To my knowledge, the FTA receivers don't react to the sat signals like the modified cards will. They go out because something in the encryption stream was changed. Small encryption changes are usually a key change and just require input of new keys or if you are running a bin file with auto roll, it will find the new keys for you. Any other encryption change that is more envolved will usually require the install of a new bin file once the code writers learn the proper way the encryption has been changed. Your loss of picture was probably just a key change. Its best to read guides on doing this yourself since the keys change almost daily. Updating the bin file is also very easy once you have done it a few times. Less than 5 minutes in time.

    Hey jerry,

We didn't loose just the picture, we whole system got burnt out. I was using the new bin with autoroll, 312.api. The guy we know was telling us that the signals from our sat and bell some how interacted and booted our system and then burnt it out.

I don't what happened. We had to get it repaired. Now I have reloaded with the loader you had given me and it works again, but I hope it doesn't burn out again.

I still don't believe the signal can do that. The receiver must have been defective and would have burned out anyway. I belong to several other FTA sites and never read of any signals burning out a receiver without an internal problem. I guess anything might be possible, but if the signal caused it on your 3500, then there would be hundreds of posts on those sites about the same problem.

The only other similar problem is what happens when the Blacklist bin file is installed in a CLONE receiver that is not a true Pansat receiver. The bin file will shut down the CLONE receiver and it will need special help to get it back up and running again. It isn't actually damaged, just sort of locked out of being used.

Thanks for clearing it up for me. I didn't really believe what he had to say anyways, but it doesn't hurt to clarify.

I sometimes get duplicates too. I just use the channel edit feature and delete the dups. The Channel Master program has some good features and can find and correct the problem in your channel list, if you know how to use it.

can someone help me set up my pansat 3500s? my uncle gave it to me and my roommate and already set up all the satellites and what not but we accidently factory reset it once the channels stopped working...

i remember having echo 7, echo 8.10, and t-5 i think.. the problem is when i select these satellites and put in new keys and try to scan we are missing a lot of our channels, are there some settings i need ot change while choosing a satellite?

Go into the receiver sat setup and check the LNB type and switch settings for each sat. The settings have to match the lnb and switch setting or it worn't work. Example:: If using standard LNBs make sure that is whats is selected. If LNB for 110 is on switch port #1 make sure its that way in the setup. Same for LNB on 119 and so on. If using a DishPro setup, then select that choice for the LNBs.
