2700-X-87BL_070731_B75_205_api is the new bin. You need to do the b75 boot upgrade first.

    C/P from Total fta.

""These are the instructions I used and it worked. There are a couple of steps beyond the original BL version that I include to make it a smooth transition.

All files are in the zip file attached.

    1. Do a factory reset.
    2. Load file 115 (latest factory file available for boxes BEFORE upgrade)
    3. Start up the loader v27.02 (THIS IS A NEW LOADER and is required for all B75 level files.
    4. Select the file BOOT 2700A.......0310.bin and select BOOT FILE ONLY
    5. Power the receiver ON at the rear switch and start the download. The front display will show B75 moving across if successful when finished.
    6. Open the API file X87_BL_070311_B75_200_API.bin and select API file on the loader. (NOTE: Any api file after 10 Mar 07 should work if/when they are later issued) When complete, the box should say B75 and then switch to "ON" if you followed the instructions completely. If you did not return your box to factory state first, it will switch to a channel number instead of "ON" but may also fail. Shortcuts are user decisions.

DO NOT power off until steps are completed. Failure to follow instructions can result in potential damage.""""

Ok those are pretty much the official instructions, now I'll tell you my experience.
Steps 1, 2 and 3 were done, of course with no problems.
Step 4 is where I had problems and I never saw the B-75 flash across my receivers screen, just the green dash going back and forth, maybe that was it but my box wouldn't do what was mentioned.
Flashed my box numerous times with the boot file but it would not show the B-75 message at the end of flashing.
Finally I loaded the 115 factory bin again and instead of turning off my receiver from the back, I left it on.
I then selected the 2700A.......0310.bin {BOOT ONLY} and flashed it while my receiver was still on, low and behold it took and b-75 flashed on my receivers display.
I was then able to load the X87_BL_070311_B75_200_API.bin, again with my receiver still on and it loaded perfectly with b-75 on my receivers display until the box powered off by itself.
Receiver then rebooted with b-75 showing on the display and it going to on.
I'm not recommending the steps I did but it worked for me.
Follow the recommended steps before my crazy steps, if you get stuck you may want to try what worked for me.
I will warn you not to interrupt the flashing procedure until you see the loader tell you that the download was successful..
You can do damage to your receiver that may require a jtag.

hi jerry how are you? oki heres the problem that occure on my pansat 2700.

i downloaded the bin file 205, i have my dishs set on echo 3 and echo 7, everything came up perfectly, but after about 10 mintues, on echo 3, i lost some channels with zero quality, and on echo 7 it was gone completely. i reload the bin again but nothing changed i was still not getting those lost channels. i brought my friend's reciever whichs same as mine, he was getting the channels that i was losing.

and heres what i did today, i went to pansatusa.com, i downloaded factory bin, the 120 and old loader 72.01, i tried to programed, but i was getting massege saying, download prohibited, so i opened up the new verison of loader the 72.02 and upload the 120 bin file, after it was done, i upload the 205 file, and i was still getting the same issue. then i reset the reciever to factory setting, of course everything was deleted, i scaned the channels, but i didnt get those channels that i had missing and of course no echo 7.

what i should do? is my receiver gone bad or something?
many thanks in advanced i appreciate ur help.

This is just a guess but will give you something to look at. When you do a factory reset, you clear all your antenna settings also. Go into the setup menu for the sats and check the settings for your LNBs and switch to make sure everything actually matches the way to have them hooked up. EXAMPLE-- if echo 7 is on switch input 1 then make sure its that way in the setup and that the lnb type is correct.

Hey Jerry... hope all is well. I've been busy with all the typical summer stuff, but it's getting too hot to be outside, so now I'm interested in my Pansat again.

I'm seeking some assistance with my CLONE 3500 SD receiver. (Unfortunately, I didn't know it was a clone when I bought it, but live and learn.) I haven't updated in a while for fear of loading a clone kill, so I've been keying in the new codes manually using the remote as they become available.

Do you know of any links to the clone-safe updates for my box? I haven't even turned it on in the last month, so I'm not even sure if I can still manually enter in the codes, and I'm assuming all is still AOK, but I've love to have autoroll working again.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I did some checking around the forums and found the last clone safe bin numbered 320 from about 3 weeks ago. The present auto roll fix is numbered 321. It looks like you may need to wait a while longer. Manual input should still work but they keep changing keys several times per day. This link below is where I find the clone safe info. Not sure if they did a clone safe boot file update like the 3500 needed.

do a factory reset before you do the new bin install. You will need to copy all your dish settings and then reinstall them.

JIMMY84: here is what I have just now found. I want you to understand I DO NOT own a pansat and I have NOT tried this myself. You want to try if do so at your own risk. PLEASE read everything thru several times until you get comfortable with what you are reading.

As I understand it there was this person having the same problem as you and this is how he fixed it. Use it at your own risk. Good Luck.

I see that I have posted these instructions before. If you followed them to the letter, you should be O.K. I don't know anything to tell you. Maybe someone else has the answer, I have run out of them.

Did you ever get the new BOOT UPGRADE to work. Thats needs done before the new bin files will work. Below is a link to the BOOT UPGRADE and all files needed. The bin file in there is an old one from around March so after you get the boot upgrade to work, replace that older bin file with the newest one from about a week ago.

Use this older loader and factory file first. It includes the factory 115 file. Then use the new loader and boot update in the link I listed above. The right loader had to be used with the proper file or it won't work. Use this first.

Use this link for the boot upgrade. Same link I gave you before.

You should be able to load the new bin over the old one without a problem. If that doesn't seem to work, load the original factory bin first to clean out the receiver and then load the new bin.

The new bin files are starting to show up to fix the auto roll again. Viewsat files are out so the rest should show up in a day or so. Everyone needs to understand this is how the sat companies try to deal with us. They want everyone to get so tired of changing keys that you will subscribe to service. Thats how the game is played. I'll try to post links to files as I find them
Viewsat and Sonicview files are at this link.

Pansat and Conaxsat files are at this link.
