You can't sign in at Future-fta, but the bin files are listed on the first page. Just click the right model link. Jerry
Right on the front page of this link. I installed the one for mine and its working great. http://www.totalfta.com/ Jerry
I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think its a file update similar to the bin files but all it actually does is update the key codes. I never had need of that so haven't used it. I guess its for those that don't want to update keys manually. I could be wrong on that. Jerry
Viewsat support at these sites. You need the viewsat loader to update the bin files which should be on these sites also. I keep the factory bin file stored on my PC but haven't had a need for it yet. I just load the new bin over the old with no problems so far. http://www.totalfta.com. http://www.hashhu.com. http://www.al7bar.tk. http://www.future-fta.info. Jerry
I don't know if this helps, but it is a c/p out of the installation manual for the 3500. 32) It is important that you configure the Time Settings properly for a good EPG. First set the Time zone. Use your volume buttons on the pansat remote to change your GMT time setting (ie. Eastern, Mountain, etc.). 33) Then scroll down to the Current Time and press OK. Use the remote’s number pad channel buttons to input year, month, date and time.
If you are talking about the Viewsat, its sets the time off the signal stream from the sats. You may need to go into the time section of the menu and change the + or - hrs to get the right time zone. It should be automatic after that. Jerry
Stupid me. I thought he was talking about a pansat 3500. Didn't read far enough up in the posts, just the thread he was posting in.
Pansat is a very good box, however you will really like the Viewsat after getting use to it. Not a big difference in setup or usage just some slight differences. Jerry
