My 3500sd cannot bring in sat echo 4 (for locals) echo 7 or 9, blows up each time i try and select the sats, for download. However, with the 345 bin I am using the Nim1q 2Ku and 1.3Ku sats. Never had them before. These are from Canada. Limited channels. Something has been going wrong since the 335 bins. Can anyone help?

I was always able to bring in the Echo sat 4, 7 and 9, until recently.

The Pansat3500 new bin 345 are down at the moment. DN channels are not working. You have to wait for a new fix.

Hi... I just purchased a 3500 Pansat but think I might have been dupped' by getting a fake/clone! Is anyone familiar with this model and what I have to do to get it working... I have done a scan from BEV and the channels info works but gives me a message of Scrambled or bad channel. I have also used the latest Bin?
    My reciever looks like this...

The last time I had mine on (last night) the only channels out on DN were the PPV, XXX, and premium movie channels like HBO-Showtime. The regular channels were working and 2 channels up high above the VOD channels were showing some of the PPV movies and are still working. They are listed as DRMT3 and DRMT5 5899 and 5901. We are still waiting on a fix for the Premium channels.

Hard to guess at the audio problem. Did you try a coax cable straight from the 3500 to the TV? Maybe the other audio outputs have problems. Maybe you downloaded a defective bin file. Try a file from anothet site and reload the receiver.

Hi Jerry... my pansat 3500 looks like this...
    http://btecanada.com/catalog/images/Sate...-3500-Clone.gif
there seems to be no way to enter the keys in manually... I read one of your posts that say the new bins don't need to input the keys manually... is this true?
All of my Channels show up with a $ sign in front of them... Am I screwed??? lol

It seems you do have a 3500 clone but in most cases they usually work in the same way. Yes, if you find a clone safe bin file you shouldn't need to enter the keys manually, but you can try this to see if it works. Enter 8282 with the remote which in most receivers will take you to the key entry area for manual entry. Most of the new bin files that are out at this time have the auto roll feature that find the keys for you. However the auto roll area is what the providers seem to attack so the keys won't roll properly. They have been changing encryption on a regular basis every few days. Entering keys manually won't help at all at this time. We need new bin files.

Thanks Jerry and you also have my vote...lol
8282 doesn't work at all... I have looked ALL over the clone's remote and menus but can't find anywhere to enter the keys... I guess I'll wait for the new Bin...checking like every 1 hour...lol
    thanks again

Well we are all in the same boat right now. Just waiting on the bin files, but it may be a week or two. Look in your main menu for any section listed as CAS. Thats the key area. Maybe under the options. Not sure on a CLONE.

    Hey Jerry,

I have Pansat 3500SD I have new bin file installed and I can't seem to get any channels. I have my dish pointed in two direction and I was wondering if you do in consulting regarding how to scan and get the channels up.

Re-install 343 if that was partially working. DO NOT TRUST BIN FILES FROM DSSCENTRAL. Over the last few weeks there have been many bogus files on DSSC and they don't seem to stop them from being posted. Usually they are old files that someone renames to look like a new file. Pansat files will always be posted at http://www.future-fta.info first. Usually right on the front page. If you don't see files there for Pansat, they don't exist.

    Hello Jerry,

    Is anybody out there.
I accidently found you forum and it has been the most informative out of them all.
    But I haven't seen a post since Dec 21.
It seems though reecently every bin file for the Pansat 3500SD does not even work upon upload.
I am up to 351 (but haven't checked yet today).
I even go to Satelite Scan and Nimiq 1.3 shuts unit off before scan is complete. Echo scans to no avail.
    I'll Keep watching this site.

    Thanks for all the info...

If I'm not mistaken, that bin 351 is a fix for the GC (GlobeCast) sats. It won't work on DN or BEV. Go back to the previous bin file and you should get some channels on DN but the PPV and premium channels will still be out.
    BEV channles are still out.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

At futura FTA the 3500sd file does have a GC in the "fix" name.
I missed that the first time.
I Just reloaded the 350bin and I let the EPG load.
    68% and climbing...
Bin 350 does not work, except for AMC...
    Going for 349...
    and the verdict is...

    Thats out too.

We will keep watching, as the case may be.

    Thanks Again,

    LJ

When using the older bin files BEV will still be completely out. On DN you should get most of the normal channels but no PPV,XXX or premium movie channels like HBO and Showtime. A few PPV mirror channels do work up higher around channel 5900. Maybe about 4 or 5. We just have to wait for the next bin file. Keep watching Future-fta site. Pansat bins will post there first.
