    Hi jerry, after putting in bins with success, I did what I usually do, cleared the sd card, put it in 3500, it placed 3 dir in, take it out drag and drop new bin put it back into 3500, I see the new bin on the tv, click ok and nothing happens except the words such as filename etc disappear, what do you think?

    Thats sort of strange. Maybe try a factory reset and factory bin to clean it out with the serial cable. Then once its back to factory specs, try the sd card again. I never heard of that type problem before.

    Did the bin file get unzipped before loading it on the SD card?

    new problem, i seem to be able to download from 2gb sd card if i backup the bin file via pansat 3500 menu, BUT the file reads twice the binfile size, it shows download and writing and complete but no pic, sound on ch 407, but when i go to the menu the box that shows file number is still old bin which indicates to me the file didnt download, what to do, thanks guys

    Thank you for the info, in reading it I noticed that in flashing the code back into the pansat, it states that you can use either the code backup or ch, is there a difference or preference, again guys, thanks for the help

    1. i have a bell dish (in Canada) and would it work on a 3500pansat box?
    2. i am looking at pansat 3500 is this a wise choice?
    3. programs and files. can i get a link to where i need to download all these programs to load files and such.
    4. how often does the 3500 go down and how fast for it to be back up?

    Answers:::
    1. Yes the 3500 will work with BEV as long as you have the latest working bin file for that provider.
    2. Pansat receivers are one of the better choices at this time.
    3. See the Bindepot link under my eagle or try www.future-fta.info.
    4. This thread probably has the most info on the 3500 at this time. Up/down time is anybodies guess. It all depends on how big a change is done to the encryption stream. Present conditions are about 1 week up, then a few days down for a new bin to show up when needed.

    HEY MOLSEN
    1) You will need two dishes one pointing at Bell the other at the Dishnetwork.
    2) You can download the files at http://www.future-fta.info/Forums/ to program your dish.
    3) lately every week the FTA receivers are going down. Personally I own both Pansat and Viewsat Extreme. I like the Viewsat for many reasons.
    *WARNING* for Canadians we can be charged for stealing the Bell signal. In the USA they can't be charged for stealing the Bell signal.
    Also consider this, www.viewsatcanadaretail.com has a new FTA receiver called NFusion that has a ethernet (computer internet cable port) you plug this in and it automatically gets the updates it's self. Thus less work for you. However if there is NOT an update you have to wait.
