My Freind sent me a dvd+r with paper labels on them they won't play, nor will my decrypter decrypte them. What is the best way to remove them run them through the dish washer? Any ideas would be greatful, I do believe that is the reason I am getting crc error on them. I have tried just to open them with shrink smae out come crc error. What is the best way to remove them please.

    GooBeGone :)

Thats the easiest and best way. You might be able to soak them in warm dishwater for a while.

Juat make sure you protect the data side of the DVD. You don't to add any scratchs.

What I did was ..... used a hair drier first ..... heat up the label and carfully peal it off with a knife to start ....... Then use the goo be gone to get rid of any left over sticky stuff. Becarfull thought you don't crack you dvd.

If you get Goobegone just soak them in it for a couple of hours and the labels come off easy without harming the data whatsoever :)
