I have a problem. I partitioned a portable HDD into G & J using partition magic 8.0. I then merged the partitions but information that was in the J drive was transfered into the g drive. This information was "System Volume Information". I now have a folder on my g drive containing J drive "System Volume Information" that i can't delete as it is "currently in use etc." Is there any way that i can delete this information?

i dont think you can get rid of it unless you wipe the whole drive and make it as one partition.
