    Howdy All,

I was wondering if there was free app out there to let me keep my computer on but lock it down so no one else could get into it.

    Thanks

    Fish

I'm sure there is, but an easier way would be to set your screensaver to come on after like 3 or 5 minutes, and set it with a password.

you can actually override someone's password, if you boot in safe mode as the admin....i only know because my gf's neighbor likes to come over all the time and use her computer. the neighbor is like 9 i think, and she keeps downloading weird crap....search toolbars, screensavers, smileys, games etc. well one day the little smartazz decided to make her own user account on the computer regardless that she was asked not to use it in the first place, and naturally it was password protected. so my gf asked me to delete the account, but instead i went in safe mode and changed the little monster's password.
