    Hi
I have recently purchased Nokia dbox2 and when I tried to go to the Service menu, it asked me for a 4 digit password! The same also happened when I went to Child Lock menu. Not sure if this is realted to the image (Pacino) that is already on the dbox. Please help!

    If sportster try 1811

    If that dont worktry this

    Hi,

There are 2 methods to find the pincode on a dbox2

either ftp into var/tuxbox/config and view neutrino.conf, look for parentallock_pincode=####

    the #### is the pincode.

If you want you can do it from the dbox
    Choose Tuxbox Commander
    var ok
    tuxbox ok
    config ok
    scroll down to neutrino.conf ok
then scroll down to the line, it is in alphabetical order.

    home
Lets know how it goes .................Paul

Use tuxbox commander from blue button menu and navigate to var/tuxbox/config/neutrino.conf,
once in there scroll down to parentallock_pincode and that number is the code you want.

Damn got there before me again lol

    Hi Paul,

Prevous to your message, I navigated to Tuxbox Commander -> var -> tuxbox ->config -> Neutrino. I ws then advised by a friend to enter a password so I entered 0000.
When I went back to Service menu and keyed in 0000 it did not work. I went back to Tuxbox Commander but it asked me for a password! So I tried to key 0000 but after I keyed in the first 0 i was unable to add the second 0. It seems I cannot key the same number twice.
So now I am stuck! Any ideas?

Hi Paul, I wil try that and let you know how I get on. Many thanks for your help. Just one more thing...!
I couldn't view any chaneels which initialy prompted me to do a scan. However, is there a way of checking to see if any data is coming through my cable?
