password or encryption?

    Is there software that will let me place a password or encryption protection so no other user can burn or rip my dvd/cd?

    sure you could rar your files and make it password protected

    I want to put a some type of encryption on the dvd, do no one can burn it.(will at least not so easily)

    you're pretty much SOL on that one, bud. best you could do is scratch the hell out of the disc in the blank space after you've burned your video, but you'll have to encode at a low enough quality that you don't take up all the space on the disc. you'd probably want to start scratching right when the credits start.


    why do you want people not to be able to burn your discs anyway? simply don't give them to people if that's what you're worried about. and considering it seems you'd be giving out burned discs to begin with, aren't you being a little bit greedy? :p

    It's for personal information documents and etc...just in case If I lose it.

    in that case, just .rar the files and password protect them. nothing else you can really do.
