    Hi

Is their any MPEG encoders out there that allow you to pause the encoding process. I know you can manually do it by starting the encoding from the point you stopped at last time, but then you have to join all the files together when you finish. Must be an easier way???

Encode at night, while you sleep. This is my best suggestion. Otherwise tou 'stop' TMPGenc and when it asks you 'stop?' you wait to click any button. But the PC must remain switched on until you click 'no' and go on encoding.
