@everyone...This thread is oddly sacred territory. No nastiness is permitted. Moreso, there are certain paranormal entities (for lack of a better term) who are the extremely powerful "keepers of the thread" who will rain slow but certain suffering onto anyone who has anything but the nobelest of intentions here. Sisyphus himself spends eternity pushing his rock uphill in this little dimention of cyber-space all for a millisecond of thoughts displeasing to the gods.

@tocool4u....you're a bright guy, you've experienced much even at your young age that many of us can't imagine...try your hand at a little creative writing!...it can be amusing, insightful, sad, poetic, funny ... whatever you want it to be provided it's a serious attempt. Max and Jamzbond are the pros, I throw in my two cents on rare occasion. Give writing a try just for the hell of it. Don't worry about being "good" so much as expressing yourself as best you can. Give it a try! I've read many of your posts and know you have much to share.

Now I have to rhyme,

There Once was An addict* named Auslander
In truth he should have been called the Man handler.
Flaming newbies and members alike,
And setting them up on a pike.
For the wolves to come, with the member impaled on a pike.
Although he was clever and smart, to evil he is not dislike.
He tried to capture the world, but Realized Ireland was to.
Resulting in a bloody fight, which only fools might.
Nicht came along, the fool he is, and asked "WTF is happening?"
Ireland pasted a weird picture of a nuclear explosion on his mapening.
This was a special mapening, which turned everything real
Allowing Auslander to rip off Nichts limbs while he squeled.

I was half way through that sentence when I became scared and didn't really want to know what was at the end. But It was good ^_^

And If anyone cares, I am moving to Wisconsin this month. Away from Germany and all this stuff, it's not Missouri but its close enough to hit with a ballistic missile. Providing you have one... What Am I talking about, Your Auslander of course you have one Or a couple thousand.

Speaking of which did you get your girl that 'promise ring yet'?

ooh, I thought I'd jump on this thread. I noticed "creative writing" be mentioned earlier on, which I am fond of doing
So though I'd post in it.

Nothing to offer as such, but hey!

It would be nice if we could keep this thread alive with creativity.
Any attempt at poetry is welcome, at least by me, and im sure thats what Jamz intended. He started this thread when a lot of negative attacks and flames were going on, and there was a mass exodus by AD members. For me it helped in that it gave me something to keep the voices in my head distracted for a little while. Then other distractions happened, and i forgot about poetry for a while. It takes me a little while to compose one, as i write it down on the fly many times, then i go back and edit spelling and structure. I am glad that members like my poems, but really, im not that good at it. I do like to do them, and try to give it my best.


[bold]The Sacred Thread[/bold]
There exists in cyberspace
A sort of sacred place.
It lives in AD, which is a community
Of many different flavors of humanity.
Some come to help, some come to fight.
Some come just to prove they are right.
Some come to learn, maybe how to burn.
Some come just to pass time in the night.
Here there are many different threads,
That put all kinds of words in our heads.
In this community there is a thread
That refuses to be dead.
It was put here by Jamz.
Probably only one of his many names.
He hoped to bring out the best in us.
Its not a place to flame, or cause a fuss.
Its a place to inspire.
A place to light the human fire.
It takes more effort to help,
Its pretty easy to make someone yelp.
The next time you lend a hand,
Seek to understand.
Try to make sure you are helping your fellow man.
Let that be the focus of your plan.
Let that hand be open yet solid,
Let yourself be proud of what you did.
It is harder to help but the rewards are great.
It may even alter your fate.
So let us all try to respect the nature of this thread.
If we do that, we keep it alive, and its never dead.
