Hello guys. I am back to harass you guys again. First of all, I want to thank all of ya'll that offer to help me, but enough of this. Here is my issue:

My PC has a booting issue. My computer will turn on and that, my friend, is where my issues begin. As soon as I turn it on, the screen popes up that shows Gateway and then the processor logo. (All of the machines havese these screenes right?) And that is as far as I get. I have a Gateway 838GM. I've left the screen alone for quite some time and it will not boot up. If will not even boot from a CD and I can't even get to the BIOS menu! I've read that the CMOS batter could be dead? Could this be my issue?

    Thanks.
