PC camera

    Is there any way to record video using a PC camera to save on HD?
    Thats right I'm a noob.

    the software that cam with it will allow you to record onto your hard drive, at least the one's i've dealt with do.

    No its a xbox 360 cam and it came with no software but I can take pics with it on my pc and watch it view live video but it wont record.

    Do you have any ideas? and thanks for responding,

    according to xbox site, webcam is only for xbox not for pc which explains no software.
