pc doesnt recognize the 160 hard drive

    i just got a hard drive 2 day and my windows 98 doesnt see it it the my computer folder.

    help plz

    I believe there is a limit of 136 gigs for computers pre-xp service pack 1 , so you may need to upgrade ur os, but you might want to verify that, try googling. I think newer service packs of nt also support more than 136 gigs

    no, it doesnt even tell me there's a 137 gig drive at all it says that its not there

    what file system was the drive formatted in?
