When I insert an original retail DVD movie into my DVD-RW 16X HL-DT-ST DVDRRW GWA-4161B to watch it the video is very stuttery and so is the sound which makes viewing imposible.

Ive used windows media play, VLC, Intervideo winDVD and its the same problem.

    Can someone help me?

It could be a video card problem. What video card do you have, and have you updated the drivers for it?

Have you updated the firmware for your DVD burner?

My DVD drive has the lastest firmware and my video card is a ATI RadeonĀ® X200
