why not give the fan a try, all i did was removed the side of the commy panel, stuck an electric fan infront of the motherboard and ran winavi, it worked for me, its only worth a try, i know its not a permanent solution, go for it, Mickcon

yeah I'll defo give that a try. Been converting with TMPGEnc recenlty and all is well so far but I still need to use winavi for certain tasks. How can I check the temp of my memory?
not sure on how to check if your memory is over heating but have pasted a link to over heating problems, also know that you can buy some sort of copper caseings to cool your memory, if you search the web you will find a solution http://www.pcguide.com/ts/x/ggen02-c.html mickon
