hi folks, Gamer, tick the box "skip reading errors" also. It should work. San Andreas DVD is Securom 7
hmmmm squizzle thats wierd , when i did a scan with array scanner it shows securom i was wrong however about the macrovisoin! anyways try doing a copy of san andreas with just any burner and see if it works.it did with my pacific digital. made by toshiba no doubt, lol, but this toshiba has broke every copy protection ive thrown at it , so id say i got my 50 bucks worth and real lucky . from now on it'll be lite-on or plextor for me for now anyways!. toshiba ODD-DVD SD-R5272 is the brand model !
maybe I'm using an outdated version of aray scanner and it didn't pick up the new securerom?? I'm using 2.0.2.1
Yo, Squiggle i have had missreadings with aray, but now i find it easier and quicker to go to one of the game sites and look up the game protection. Like gameburnworld or gamecopyworld world. (i dont kno if i can say that). Or even just google (ie) "San Andreas Protection" I get an answer way before aray finishes scanning. Also the newer versions of securom have read errors (similar to safedisc) as well which makes it harder.
if you're having problems backing up the game that's weird cuz I burned it using Nero on the fly, which means no copy protection unless anydvd handled it.
mmmm Squizzle i find it very hard to believe u copied San Andreas using nero because its......impossible. And suggesting DVD movie decoders to get around game protections shows a total ignorance of the topic. Im not trying to be mean but theres thousands of people that would use that advice and waste hours of time and $$$ worth of blank discs. It would be better for u to point people in the right direction on another page or site than to guess and mislead people.
ok dude whatever, tell that to my backup copy of the game. I haven't actually tried it out, so I don't know if it works. But I'm not lying, I do have a copy and I did make it with Nero just doing an on the fly disc copy. I have anydvd running in the background always, but I'm unsure if that made a difference. Also, there's no authentication code to enter in so that leads me to believe they're not extremely worried about piracy.
no kidding with nero??? wow lol i guess its just not that big of a deal ill try that squizzle, ty .did it do a 1:1 or do you still have to use alcohol in the background? oo and im using array scanner version 2.0.2.2 and it still reports securom it doesnt say wich version of securom thats wierd that you were able to make a playable copy of san andreas with just nero howd you do it what were the settings? anyways thnx for all the great info!! by the way guys if you didnt alrdy know anydvd just came out with a new vesion mabey we should try using it to get a 1:1 copy!
I was using a version earlier for Aray Scanner. I did a 1:1 copy, never installed it to see if it actually works. I don't have Alcohol installed on my PC at all. So basically what I'm saying is that I don't know if the copy actually works, but I was able to make it.
Squizzle dude, a 1:1 copy is a working backup. I understand you used nero to burn something, but a working 1:1 copy? You have made a working 1:1 coffee cup coaster. Why dont you just try the friggin thing in your machine? Also,Just cause it dont have an authentication key doesnt mean they dont care about protecting it. Thats why they pay the securom people. Keys are a basic protection that is easily defeated so they dont bother much with it anymore. But anyway i'll look you up when i need to burn a movie with AnyDVD.
well i tried it and it didn't work. Wow it seemed you guys were more worried about whether my copy would work than I was.
naw squize, i meant no disrespect man .i was actually hoping that when you tried it that it worked. it's just that burning it simply with nero sounded too good to be true man! and made me excited to tell ya the truth. but, i also knew from much experience burning games that it was a bunch of pipe dreams ,lol anyways this is about getting andreas backed up with a 1:1 so lets get back on key here and get-r-done, keep tryin guys we will figure this out man !
Ok I backed up San Andreas and made an ISO image. IF I use A120 and load that image on the virtual drive, I can install and play the game just fine. If I try to use A120 to burn that image to a DVD its gives an error right before it starts the burn process. Anyone have any ideas? thanks!
Yo Peeple, I have burnt 3 Securom 7 DVD's (San Andreas,Boiling Point,And Project Snowblind) succesfully using the Blindwite tweaker/ Blindwite method. You also need to download a Bwa file from the internet as most of us peasants cant create an accurate DVD BWA file. I installed first time from the backup ( without anything running in the background) and it works perfectly. Gamer, Alcohol can only burn San Andreas as a mds file with rmps enabled.
I installed it and cracked it, then I played it over the course of about 2 weeks, and after about seven missions (right after I droped Denise off at her house after our first date) the video stopped working! The sound worked fine tho (I can hear people talking but the screen goes blank!) IM SO FRUSTERATED!!! What can I try? THANX!!!
Yo Sam San Andreas has bugs. Download the update and also update ur video drivers. When u say u cracked it i assume u mean that u made a legal backup of ur original purchased disc...........
