    I know it's not a 500GB but it's a decent price anyway. :)

Seagate 250 $59.99 after promo code: EMCAKAFAC

Well, burned my last three. All coasters.

Man these must have been made in India. I heard those were bad. You guys think BestBuy will give me new ones?

    greensman,
Here's even a better deal. A Samsung 500GB w/16MB Cache for $69.99 with free shipping. Only $10 more for twice the drive space.
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152098

They also have a WD with the same specs at the same price but it's one of those power saving drives that runs between 5400 and 7200 rpm! Peoples seem to be favoring the Samsungs right now so I though I would post it here!

    Happy Computering,
    Russ

I have no objections with the power saving drives, they run dead silent in low power mode, and when at 7200rpm perform within 5-10% of the Samsung F1s...

Yes a rice cooker. We would eat a lot more rice if we had one of these and it's better for you than bread and potatoes. :p

Besides I love Japanese rice. The only way you can "re-create" it is with a cooker. The 5 minute stuff is NOT nearly as good!!!! :p

I always thought bread was better for you.

Oh well, we just make our rice in a pot over the stove.

    sammorris,
I've never had problems with their video Cards. Motherboards, yes! If you take a good look at the photos you will see that there is no heat vents inside the case, like many other video cards have, it all exhausts outside the case. It also has the Akimbo cooler. I've only recently seen one of these and it was very well made, and ran quite cool! not too noisy either! Hey, for a final price of $104.99 it would be especially good for anyone that has difficulties cooling their PC, as none of the hot air comes out in the case to contribute to the overall heat!

    Best Regards,
    Russ

Interesting idea - elevate the standard cooler higher to have a bigger heatsink underneath, but the same plastic surround.

I have a question! Why are we discussing things on a thread that's meant to alert people to good deals? Shouldn't we be discussing on a regular thread somewhere? Just wondering, as I've never seen that on any thread like this one.
