pc important file recovery

    yes. is the xp cd from ms or dell. if from dell then it is probably a recovery cd so it will put everything back to when you 1st got the computer. what anti-virus program are you using as dell might have old version of norton or mcaffee?

    then how are you going to reload xp if you don't have the cd?

    i dont know......thats wat i need help with...isnt there any way 2 do it without the cd?

    nope. you need either the cd or recovery disk(s) to reload windows.
