   I just recently upgraded a computer to XP and was installing some meemory.Now when i hook my monitor up to it , it acts like its in sleep mode and will not activate.the computer is a compaq presario 5015......any help out there for a newbie???

   take out the new ram to see if it will post. also reseat the ram & all cards.
