PC not reading iPod Nano...!?

I can charge my iPod with the USB cable. But iTunes and my PC dont detect the iPod. I cant upload songs onto my Nano. Any help?

 

Trying using a different Usb port an see if that helps.

 

Yeah I did....same result though :/

 

Also try resetting your ipod by holding menu an the clicker
button down until it reboots then plug it in your computer,
try this a couple of times, i had the same problem with my brothers
nano that he gave me to put music on, after awhile it worked!
so good luck if not go to a apple store near you an tell them the same thing!!

before restore you ipod, try to copy all the songs from your ipod to your computer so you have a backup, see if this thread helps http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/541210

 

try installing the latest itunes. uninstall your current version first before installing the new one.
