PC that was build

    Hi i bulid a computer and the parts i got in my case are

    AMD SEMPRON 2600
    256MB DDR PC-2700 SPECTEK
    HD WESTERN DIGITAL 80GB 7200RPM
    FLOPPY DRIVE 1.44
    LG DVD RW W/SFT
    RHYCOM-SGT SWITCHING POWER SUPPLY ATX450-4

    but when i switch on the power supply the power supply fan, CPU and the lights come on before i even push the power button in the front of the computer and it keeps on beeping every 1 second does any body know what can cause this?

    you may have plugged in the buttons from the front of the case to the motherboard incorrectly.

    as for the beeping, have a look in your motherboard manual, sometimes the explain what the beeps mean. but otherwise, beeping usually means something isn't plugged in properly, hdd, ram, vid card being the usual suspects.
