PC to Router

    i want to turn my Pc into a router with out lossing windows and making it unusable. i have a wireless card and a ethernet card on the same pc. want to use the ethernet card as a router to my PS2. is there a way i can do that?

    You can use Internet Connection Sharing, or ICS. If you're on XP just run the Network Connection Wizard.

    ICS? also what are some steps in the network wizard that i can take to set up? ^^

    Open up the Network Connection Wizard from your Start->Control Panel->Networking section. Click "Setup or change your home or small office network". Click on "Checklist for creating a network" and then look at ICS to get an idea of what you need to do and a decent pictorial of what your network will look like. Follow the instructions.

    (Note: I don't see why you don't just plug an ethernet cable between the PS2 and your wireless router/WAP, if you have one. ICS will work but it's the long, hard way of doing things.)
