Hi everyone, I have bought a new VGA card NVIDIA TNT 2 with TV out option but when I go to its properties the TV out function is disabled only the monitor option is availlable. Even if I try to connect a cable from the TV out of my VGA card to TV in of my TV I see nothing. Anyone to help please!
I have windows Xp, when I hooked up my tv to the pc I had to go to Control Panel<Display<Settings<Advanced<Displays then there was an option to enable both PC & TV. I have no idea if this will work for you or not, since I basically stumbled into it. I noticed you haven't had a reply in a few weeks so I figured I would tell you what worked for me.
Coincidence, but I came here to ask a question about this. On my laptop running XP, there is an svideo output. I have linked this with simple cables to scart in the back of the TV. Control Panel<Display<Settings There is already on mine the option for two monitors. All I have to do is check Extend my windows desktop onto this monitor. It may be different on your system..
