I'm using an XP 2800+ Barton with My M848A.

The mobo is only supplying 1.632 of 1.65 required volts to the CPU.
Consequently I'm unable to play games at the rated frequency.
I have to under clock in order to game stably.
The Bios won't allow manual adjustment of the vCore.

    Help would be appreciated.

The power regulators on the motherboard are probably going bad. This is a common problem for cheap boards like PC Chips ones. The only way of solving it is a new motherboard, I'm afraid. Try for a quality brand like Asus or Gigabyte.

    Thanks for replying.

Perhaps you can recommend an Asus or Gigabyte Socket 462/DDR 400/8x AGP/333-400Mhz FSB Mobo that allows over clocking and voltage adjustment ?
