at first i thought it was a windows error, but after googling it a bit, it sounds like its a hardware problem so i thought this would be the right place to post it. anyways, my laptop (running vista) works fine for one day, and the next day on boot up, it doesnt work, popping up with this window error pciidx.sys corrupt or missing. i cant figure out what is the problem. i ran the diagnostic test and nothing came up. any help would be appreciated.
