I'd like to record some stuff to DVD using a Dolby Digital track for audio. Anybody have links, or any experience creating the AC3 track?

Well, first, you would need an AC3 encoder. There are many to choose, but the best one is arguably Sonic Foundry SoftEncode (Not on sale anymore, but available at some =irregular= sites).

All you need to do is have some PCM wavs for input, set up the encoding options (bitrate, etc) and encode it to AC3.

Then, use some DVD mastering program to multiplex it to MPEG2 in a VOB file.

    Roberto.

    d0qtrX,

It might be a good idea discuss this in the DVD forums, even though this is clearly audio related.
