Pentium II question

    i need to find out where to buy p2 motherboards which will overclock the best can if use a p2 to run torrents eg... u torrent and will it be able to use it as a tv box to watch channels and/or satellite channels and can i put this stuff in a small box.running windows 95/98 or higher as long as stable or Linux don't really care about os as long as all those requirements are achieved also don't really care if not possible to fit in a small box but would like too.

    A P2??!? Is this a joke? Those things dont even exist anymore! Try a P4, way better, and very cheap. $50 I think... Boards are even cheaper!

    if you want a low power consumption rig for torrent buy a celeron 420

    no joke just doing it for old time sake and the fun of it and i would just buy like a 30 dollar amd 64 x2 3000+

    For which you'd also have to buy a new motherboard and RAM, and probably a new power supply.
    Unless you've got all the components and they still work, old machines like that simply aren't worth bothering with.

    Most of it looks pretty non-upgradeable, but you might be able to change the hard disk, I presume it's a standard USB powered 2.5" job.

    Hehe I wish. I've just installed Extraction Point for FEAR, god it's hard! It also eats your frame rate, I've had to turn settings from high to medium, and still it runs worse than the original game!
